Silylated poly(propylene carbonate)(SPPC) was prepared by the reaction of an organic silicone reagent KH550 and poly(propylene carbonate(PPC) with isocyanate end groups which were formed by the treatment of PPC with TDI. In the presence of humidity, SPPC can be crosslinked resulting in a solid product, thus can be expected to be applied as a new kind of sealant.
