摘要
与传统的软件开发不同,DSP软件开发不仅要求软件能够满足具体的功能需求,而且对软件的内存需求和MIPS需求有着严格的要求。为了满足这些性能方面的要求,软件开发之后通常还需要进行代码优化。本文根据作者在TMS320C55xDSP算法开发方面的经验,着重介绍了一些能够有效地减少程序内存需求,加快程序执行(节约MIPS资源)的代码优化方法。这些方法对其它一些类似的DSP代码优化仍旧适用。
In comparison with the traditional software development,software development in DSP field requires not only to satisfy its functions,but also to meet the memory and MIPS limits strictly.In order to meet these limits,DSP algorithms always need to be optimized after programmed.This article targets to illustrate some methods of code optimization on TMS320C55x DSP according to our practices in this field. These methods are very efficient in memory cutting down and program accelerating (MIPS sparing),and are also useful in other similar DSPs.
