Structure and Realization of XML-based PDM System

XML的自描述性和与平台无关性使它成为一种在Internet上共享信息的强大工具,计算环境现在正在朝着采用以XML作为基础的数据存储和转换格式的方向发展。文中回顾了PDM系统的体系结构的历史,提出采用XML技术构建4层分布式PDM系统,阐述了这种体系结构的优点和实现过程中的几项关键技术。

XML is a selfdescribing and platformfree language.It has become a powerful tool when sharing information on Internet.Computing environment is now developing towards XMLbased data store and format transformation.This paper firstly reviewed the history of PDM system structure,and then proposed to build 4tier distributed PDM system with XML technology.The advantages of this model and the key techniques with it are discussed.
