摘要
附网存储是目前网络存储设备发展的新趋势 .文章以附网存储体系结构的研究为背景 ,针对系统中设备的 I/O性能进行了分析 .根据建立排队论理论模型 ,定量地分析出了有关影响性能的主要参数 ,并导出了相关性能公式 .通过对分析结果的计算检验 。
According to Amdahls law, the improvement of storage system must synchronize with performance of processor. Only in this way can the global performance of computer system be improved. Along with the performance of processors enhancing, and the emergence of high-speed transmission facilities and the novel-style application requirements, storage system has turned to be bottleneck of the whole system. So the storage system is faced with great challenge.Network attached storage(NAS) realized distributed network storage. It emphasized on direct data transfers between data provider and receiver, guarantee super persistent bandwidth and perfect scalability. This paper investigates I/O performance of NAS device from the viewpoint of device mechanisms, and set up academic model on the basis of queues theory. After that, it quantitatively discusses and analyzes the factors for performance difference from angle of mathematics, and provides reasons for which influenced the performance. Besides that this will be a profitable discussion for further performance optimize of NAS system.
