The author analyzes an effect of the charging ratio of a drag-chain conveyor on the separating results of the separator, discusses an effect of the running velocity of the flight in the conditions of various methods of speed regulation new available on the driving efficiency of the drive and the structural parameters of the separator, and finally obtains the method determining the running velocity of the flight of the dragchain conveyor.
