The Difference of Science and Technology Development in near Epoch between China and Japan

通过对近代中日两国科技发展的比较,从两国文化及历史发展进程及其各自所持有的对外文化价值观的角度,探讨了近代中国科技落后的原因。其中,作者对“中体西用”与“和魂洋才”的关系提出了自己的看法。

Comparing the difference of science and technology development in near epoch between China and Japan,it was discussed in the paper that the reason why science and technology lagged so much in Chinese from the point of the process of their culture and history advancement, and the point they respectively valued foreign culture. A viewpoint of the correlation between' Inheriting Chinese social system while adopting western technology in China' and 'Inheriting Japanese ethos while applying of western technology'was put forward by this paper.
