Logic Volume Manager(LVM) is an excellent and widely adopted partition management in UNIX family. Of course, it will be adopted by Linux. The concept and implementation mechanism of LVM are introduced in this paper. In fact, using LVM in linux is a good way to resolve hard disk partition problem.
