摘要 随着网络的不断发展 ,Internet的正常运行变得越来越重要 .基于端到端行为测量特点和主动测量方法 ,开发了一个分布式大型网络性能监测和在线分析系统———NIPMAS ,该系统实现了对大型网络的性能管理和初步的故障管理 .主要介绍NIPMAS采用的关键技术 :(1)主动测量应用到网络性能监测系统的方法 ;(2 )提出网络监测模型LNM和层次化网络概念 ,将GIS有效地应用到了NIPMAS中 ;(3 )提出一种大型网络的故障定位方法 . A distributed network performance monitoring and on line analysis system--NIPMAS was developed to realize performance management and rudimentary trouble shooting of large scale network. It is based on end to end paths measurement and active measurement. Three critical techniques used in NIPMAS are illustrated, namely: (1) How to apply active measurement to network performance monitoring and on line analysis; (2) How to realize the concepts of level network monitoring model LNM for hierarchical network and introducing GIS into NIPMAS; (3) How to locate fault and confine it within a network segment.
