Qixin No. 1 is a new early maturity watermelon F1 hybrid developed by crossing female parent Xin A with male parent Pu B. The plant is vigorous. It is high resistant to plant diseases. The fruit is firmness and is resistant to cracking, with sugar content of 9.8 %-12.6 % . The yield is 8.5% -12.7% higher than Jingxin No. 1. It can be grown in protected or open field in early spring.
