对培养应用型人才和开展"双证书"教育的认识与实践

Understanding and Practice on Fostering Applying Talents and Developing "Twotype Certificates" Education

培养基础理论型人才的高等教育和培养应用型人才的高等教育,是教育的两种类型,而不是两个档次。北京联合大学应用文理学院经济学与城市科学系资源环境与城乡规划管理专业,多年来一直密切关注北京市城乡建设对应用型人才的需要,锐意改革,坚持走应用的道路,在教学和科研实践两个方面都非常注意专业理论与应用相结合,不断拓展专业应用领域。为了使所培养的应用型人才符合劳动和社会保障部颁布的国家职业标准的要求,该专业正在积极探索开展"双证书"教育,进一步加强学生动手能力的培养。

The higher education to foster talents focusing on basic theories and that to foster talents focusing on applying abilities are two different types of higher education rather than two different levels. For more than 20 years, the faculties of Planning and Management of Resources, Environment, and City and Country in the Department of Economics and Urban Sciences, College of Applied Sciences and Humanities of Beijing Union University have been paying much attention to the market demand for talents with highly applying skills in city planning, construction and management in Beijing, and continually making reformation and development on the contents and applying areas of their majors. They integrate theories with practices both in teaching and research and have made excellent outcomes. In order to reinforce students' working skills and abilities, they are exploring the 'Twotype Certificates' education, educating students for getting both academic degrees and vocational certificates.
