山西河曲刘家塔石炭纪地层剖面可以成为晋西北石炭二叠系研究的新地点,其生物群特征可以和保德扒楼沟相比较,与太原西山月门沟系则有一定差别。
The Liujiata strata profile of Carboniferous system in Hequ district of Shanxi may serve as a new base for researching into the Permo-Carboniferous sequences in Northwest Shanxi, with the organic fossils showing characteristics resemblant to those of the the fossils preserved in the Palugou profile in Baode district but different, to a certain degree, from those in the Yumengou profile in Taiyuan Xishan district.
