新疆巩留县博图沟泥石流灾害调查

AN INVESTIGATION ON DEBRIS FLOW IN BUOTU VALLEY,GONGLIU COUNTY, XINJIANG

1991年6月7日凌晨1时许(北京夏令时),伊犁地区巩留县东买里乡吉尔尕朗河南岸支流——博图沟发生了40年一遇的暴雨——滑坡泥石流。发生过程约21分钟,造成24人死亡,淹没9顶毡房、一部汽车、一台拖拉机和1 000多头牲畜,是新中国成立以来,新疆维吾尔自治区一次伤亡人数最多,损失惨重的泥石流灾害。

In the Buotu Valley, Gongliu County, on June 7th,1991, a great rainstorm debris flow occurred, which lasted about 21 minutes,killed 24 people, buried 9 yurts and more than 1,000 animals. This debris flow has been known as the worst disarster in the area ever since the year of 1949.
