The 1950s and 1960s saw the civil rights movement of blacks break out, which is the largest, longest wide spread movement for civil rights since the second reconstruction of the United States. Starting from blacks' boycott against taking buses in Montgomery, this movement manifested such characters: effective organization, wide participation, non violent boycott.
