中国散文诗是中外文化在新诗革命特定时期契合的产物,是20世纪中国文学的一种特殊的文学体裁,具有诗化和散文化的双重特点,特别是在外形上具有散文的形体,在文体功能上与诗的抒情功能有殊途同归之处。20世纪中国散文诗经历了从散文化的诗到诗化的散文的的发展轨迹,其文体建设经历了一条曲折之路。在20世纪中国文学中,散文诗的非独立文体的存在方式一直影响着新诗的文体建设,加剧了新诗的"自由化"和"散文化"。

Chinese Prose Poetry is built by Chinese and Foreign culture during the Free Verse Revolution in China.It is a special style with the character which contains the speciality of poetry and prose during the 20th century.Its form is close to prose.Its lyrical function is close to poetry.During the 20th century,Chinese Prose Poetry has a difficult history in spirals developing from prosaic poetry to poetic prose. Modern Chinese Poetry has been influenced by Chinese Prose Poetry which is not an independent style.
