A Study on the Reason of the Prosperity of American Interest Groups

美国是利益集团最为兴盛的国家,主要原因在于:美国社会的多元化、政治体制的分散性为利益集团提供了合适的生存环境,美国人民对民主、自由、平等的热爱和向往及浓厚的个人主义、集团意识成为利益集团不断涌现的思想动力,美国社会的冲突、变革和发展则是利益集团日益兴盛的直接动力。总之,美国利益集团的发展是资本主义民主政治的必然产物,是美国多元化社会现实的反映,是美利坚民族精神的体现,是在美国经济、政治和社会发展的推动下实现的。

America is the country with thriving Interest Groups. The main reasons lie in the diversity of American society and the decentralization of the political system which have offered the appropriate circumstance for the existence of the Interest Groups. The love of American people for democracy, freedom and equality, and the strong individualism and the sense of groups have become the motive force of thoughts that makes the Interest Groups to emerging continuously. The conflict, reform and development of American society are the direct motive force behind the increasing prosperity of the Interest Groups.
