梁漱溟乡村建设实践的文化分析

A Cultural Study on Liang Shu-ming's Rural Construction Movement

梁漱溟领导的乡村建设运动以儒家文化改造为核心,并力图实现中国传统伦理道德与西方民主科学的现代结合。这一取向实际上仍未逃出中体西用的改良主义窠臼,在当时的历史条件下难免失败的命运。然而,他在面对现代化时表现出的注重融合传统伦理文化与西方民主科学的思路以及解决农村和农民问题的努力,在今天仍有其借鉴意义。

The rural construction movement led by Liang Shuming took the Confucianism as the core. In this movement, Mr. Liang strived to integrate the traditional Chinese ethics and Western democracy and science. Unfortunately, he didn't depart from the set pattern of reformism and the movement failed finally under the historical condition of that day. However, his efforts on combining different cultures and solving the problems of rural area are full of significance and there is much that we can make use of to our socialist construction today.
