动机是人们行为的直接动力 ,是直接推动个体行为达到一定目标的内部动力 ,是引起人们行为的直接原因。个人的一切活动都是由一定的动机引起 ,并指向一定的目的的。对于一个积极要求入党的大学生而言 ,其入党的动机是什么 ,正确不正确 ,直接关系到他 (或她 )在入党目标达到以后的行为方式。为保证党的组织纯洁 ,保证党组织肌体的健康 ,高尚的入党动机就成为大学生入党的重要标准之一。发展党员时 ,要求申请人入党动机要端正明确 ,那么帮助他 (她 )在思想上入党就成为首要的 。

Motive is the direct reason for action. All of one's action is aroused by a certain motive with a specific purpose. As for a college student who is actively applying for admission to the Party, the correctness of the motive is of vital importance to the purity of the Party. To ensure the healthy development of the Party, one of the most important cases is to select student with lofty motive. In recruiting a new member, an important, complicate and arduous task is to demand his correct motive and require him to join the Party both organizationally and ideologically.
