Determination of plasma homocysteine concentrations in patients with co ronory heart disease

目的 研究冠心病 (CHD)患者血浆同型半胱氨酸 (HCY)水平与健康人的差异。方法 采用荧光偏振免疫法 (FPIA) ,对2 5例CHD患者和 2 0例对照者进行血浆HCY浓度测定 ,并对测定结果进行统计学处理、分析。结果 CHD患者的HCY水平高于对照组 ,且具有显著性差异 (P <0 .0 0 1 )。结论 临床应监测并控制CHD患者的HCY血浆浓度 ,并对高HCY血症患者给予相应的治疗 。

OBJECTIVE: To study the difference of plasma homocysteine(HCY) concentrations between coronary heart disease (CHD) patients and healthy volunteers. To determine whether creatinine levels affect plasma HCY concentrations. METHODS: 25 CHD patients and 20 healthy volunteers were enrolled. The plasma concentrations of HCY were determined by fluorescence polarization immunoassay(FPIA). RESULTS: Compared with the healthy group, the concentrations of HCY in CHD group were higher, and the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS: It strongly suggested to monitor and control the plasma concentrations of HCY in patients with CHD, and corresponding treatment should be given to hyperhomocysteine patients.
