A virtual test system of vehicle power train was described, which was used to solve the problem of engine dynamic and economic performances. The optimizing method for the best engine dynamic and economic performances was analyzed. The developed virtual test system offers a virtual environment to develop the AMT control module. Running status on a certain road could be gotten on this circumstance. The working conditions of a vehicle can be recorded in a digital form, which dynamically reflects the influence of the control rules on the engine dynamic performance and economic performance. It provides a basis for modifying the AMT control module.
