预制语块与外语口语流利性

Discussion of Foreign Language Oral Fluency in Relation to Prefabricated Chunks of Language

本文首先分析了语法规则在实时交际中的缺陷 ,接着介绍了预制语块的研究成果 ,指出 ,预制语块对外语口语流利性的作用至少有 3点 :1、具有较强的可及性 ;2、可以为语法计算争取时间 ;3、有利于确保意义在交际中的优先地位和连贯性。文章强调 ,要提高外语学生的口语流利性 ,必须正确处理好语法规则和预制语块教学的关系 ,确保学生的各项能力协调发展。

Based on a discussion of the disadvantages of grammatical rules in real time communication and a brief review of some researches of prefabricated chunks of language,this article holds that prefabricated chunks of language can contribute much to foreign language oral fluency in at least the 3 aspects:1.they have great accessibility;2.they can work as time-creating device for grammatical computation ,and 3.they can help guarantee the priority of meaning and the coherence of meaning exchange in oral communication.The article emphasizes that,in improving the oral fluency of foreign language learners,it is necessary to handle properly the relation of grammatical rules to prefabircated chunks of language in teaching and ensure a balanced development of learners' abilities.
