吴承恩并非《西游记》作者。宋元两代关于全真教领袖丘处机 (长春 )撰成《西游记 (平话 )》的三种记载 ,包括新发现的宋末碑文 ,是丘麾下陕西全真道士创作《西游记 (平话 )》

Wu Cheng'en is not the author of A Journey to Westland. The three kinds of records of A Journey to Westland including the newly discovered epigraph in late Song Dynasty offered convincing evidences that the original manuscript of A Journey to Westland was actually written by the prentice of Taoist Qiu Chu-ji, leader of Quanzhen Religion, but published in his name.
