阿布—卢格霍特的《欧洲霸权之前》和弗兰克的《白银资本》是世界体系学派继沃勒斯坦的《现代世界体系》之后的两部力作,它们在重构世界体系、批判欧洲中心史观和阐释西方的兴起等方面有创新之举但在理论和实证上存在缺陷。
After Modern World System by Volestine,world system school has witnessed two masterworks --Before European Hegemony by Janet L·Abu and Silver Capital by Frank.The two works are somewhat original in reconstructing world system,criticizing Europe-centric notion and illustrating the rise of the western world.Despite all this,there is still deficiency in theory and practice in the two works.
