The novel couplers used in the modern generation of Kodak colos films including color coupers(yellow、magenta、cyan), mask、DIR and DIAR couplers are illustrated. Their structure, application and mechanism of each type of couplers are described. Moreover, it also summarized some new organic additives used in Kodak color films. The author tried to ellucidate the new development of photographic organic compounds in overall view using in Kodak Color films for improving their qualities.
