Contributions of ethic Chinese of Chaozhou origin toMalaysian culture and education

马来西亚一个多世纪以来的文化教育事业有着长足的进步 ,其中华人的贡献功不可没 ,尤其是潮籍华人 ,文章根据丰富的资料 ,全面地阐述了潮籍华人自 2 0世纪初以来在华文教育与其他文化事业方面对马来西亚做出的贡献 ,指出他们不仅在经济领域 ,而且在教育文化领域 。

Malaysia has witnessed a great progress in culture and education over more than a century thanks to the contributions on the part of ethic Chinese. This paper relates the contributions of ethic Chinese, especially those of Chaozhou origin who have not only made contribution to Malaysian economy but have also made contributions to Malaysian culture and education.
