摘要
综述了代谢工程在微生物和植物领域中的应用研究进展,包括代谢工程研究的目的、设计思路和基本研究程序;在微生物领域中的应用,如氨基酸、聚酮类抗生素、PHB等的生物合成,副产物乙酸合成的抑制,提高半乳糖的利用率等;在植物领域中的应用,如棉纤维品质的改进,紫杉醇生物合成等。
Progress of metabolic engineering study in the areas of microbes and plants is reviewed: the research goal, strategy and basic research steps of metabolic engineering; the application of metabolic engineering in microbes such as the production of amino acids, antibiotics with polyketone structure, the biological synthesis of polyhydroxylbutyrate (PHB), the prevention of acetate synthesis as an inhibitor and the improvement of galactose utilization; the application of metabolic engineering in plants, for example, the improvement of quality of cotton fibre and gene engineering on synthesis of taxol.
