摘要
研究了自动指纹识别系统中的指纹校准算法。对Anil Jain等人提出的基于校准的匹配算法在极坐标系进行了改进,并对校准算法中极坐标系下原点的选取提出了一种新方法。实验结果表明,改进的校准算法与原算法相比,在不降低指纹比对的各项性能指标的前提下,可以大幅度提高指纹匹配的速度,具有较强的实用性。
In this paper, the fingerprint alignment algorithm in the automatic fingerprint identification system is studied. In the polar coordinates, an improvement is made to the fingerprint alignment-based minutia match algorithm proposed by Anil Jain etc. And also in this paper, a new method of choosing the polar coordinates origin is put forward in the alignment algorithm. The experimental results show that the new one can greatly improves the matching speed on the condition of obtaining the same fingerprint identification performance when compared with the original algorithm.
