可持续发展的理念为规划领域注入了新的内容 ,使社会、资源、环境问题在更高的层次上得到重视和研究。城市交通系统的规划、管理和技术层面上的价值观应予以调整。只有在社会、经济、环境可持续发展目标下 ,建立与此相适应的理论、方法 ,进行新一轮的城市和区域的规划和建设 。

The concept of sustainable development provides new contents in the fields of planning, and highlights the society, resource allocation and environment problems. The author argues that, urban transportation planning, management and values on the technical level shall be modified to meet these issues. It is necessary to update the current theories and methods in urban transportation planning for the new round of urban and regional construction, which will approach the common goal—the sustainable development of human society.
