杀菌/渗透增强蛋白的分子结构和主要生物学功能

摘要 杀菌 /渗透增强蛋白 (BPI)分子呈“飞镖”状结构 ,其N端和C端功能区中具有两个非极性磷脂结合口袋。目前认为 ,BPI与细菌脂多糖 (LPS)之间的结合主要与以下因素有关 :①疏水基团的作用 :即LPS疏水性乙酰基链与BPIN端口袋中非极性侧链间的相互作用 ;②静电作用 :BPIN端功能区氨基酸携带的正电荷与LPS类脂A携带的负电荷之间的相互作用。BPI主要生物学功能如下 :①对革兰阴性菌 (GNB)的抑制和杀伤作用 ;②对游离LPS的结合 /中和作用 ;③促进补体活化。
