当今中国社会进入城市化进程加速期,许多历史文化悠久的城镇,大都面临着保护与更新发展的矛盾,策略上处理得当,会使宝贵的历史文化遗产得到保护,又使城镇更新建设得以发展,改善生活工作环境。深刻认识到这点,不偏废一方,谨慎、机巧地策划经营,设计者要费些气力,可能要多一些投资,按照客观规律办事,大都会得到良好的结果,使城镇更富于历史文化内涵,面貌上更加丰富多彩。现在是到了深刻思考、积极总结经验的时刻。论文以福建永宁古卫城遗址公园规划设计为例,进行交流与探讨。

The modern China is experiencing a pacing-up urbaniza ti on,and many his-torical cities are facing the dilemma of protection and develop ment.Right mea-sures can have the precious historic relics protected while the living and working en-vironments improved.The designers should deeply know this point,and let the cities be of more historical and cultural contents and of mor e colorful appearance.This pa-per takes the design of Yongning Ancient Guard Ci ty Ruins Park in Fujian Province as the example,and exchanges and discuss-es th e experiences.
