Basofil fibre, an innovative flame retardant (FR) fibre, is being used for developing various FR products. This paper is concerned with the spinning of Basofil/cotton blends with three different ratios. The processes of ring spinning and rotor spinning are discussed, and the factors influencing the yarn quality are also investigated.
