关于我国大学外语教学理论建设的几点思考

On the Theory of College English Teaching

大学外语教学效果不够理想的根本原因是因为轻视理论和缺乏理论,建立科学的外语教学理论,探索其本质规律对我们做好大学外语教学工作有着重要的价值和意义。

We start to think about the theory of college English teaching in view of the existing fact that in the field of college English teaching,theory is despised but urgently needed.We focus on the discussion of the essence and law of college English teaching.This paper is the first part involving three questions which provide theoretical basis for the further research.The three questions are:1.what is the 'scientific theory';2.we have to turn to Marxist philosophy for help in the research of the theory of college English teaching;3.what does'essence' mean? and how to study the 'essence'of language of foreign language teaching?
