Re-evaluating the 20^(th) Century Socialist Movement from a New Perspective

以"三个代表"思想解读20世纪社会主义运动,列宁的新经济政策及其对经济文化落后国家建设社会主义的探索给后人留下了宝贵的精神财富;斯大林关于社会主义理论认识的苏联模式窒息了各国社会主义现代化建设的生气勃勃的创新精神,使社会主义事业遭受了严重挫折;毛泽东关于由新民主主义转变为社会主义理论体现了"三个代表"的思想要求;邓小平理论初步解决了经济文化落后国家如何建设社会主义问题,有中国特色社会主义道路体现了中国先进生产力的发展要求和先进文化的前进方向,真正代表着最广大人民群众的利益。

In re\|evaluating the 20\+\{th\} century socialist movement with the thought of Three Represents, we have found out that Lenin's new economic policy and exploration of how to construct socialism in economically and culturally undeveloped countries left us with valuable spiritual wealth, that the Soviet pattern based on Stalin's theory on socialism brought about disastrous consequences and made socialist cause suffer severe setbacks, and that Mao Zedong's theory on the transition from new\|democracy revolution to socialism reflected the theoretical requirements of Three Represents. We also have found out that Den Xiaoping Theory helps solve the problem of how to build socialism in backward countries. It is concluded that building socialism with Chinese characteristics represents the development trend of China's advanced productive forces, the orientation of China's advanced culture and the fundamental ieterests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese prople.
