Abstract The results of VIS-SERS and NIR-FT-SERS of salleylic acid ad-sorbedon sdver colloids were showed that Cl^-could cause the VlS-SERS sin- gles to be quenched repidly and the NIR－SERS singles to be increased．The different mechanisms were discussed.
