Abstract The NIR-FT-SERS of aromiatic amino acid and uncharged polar amino acid adsorbed on the surface of silver particles were analvzed but the spectra were not satisfactory. After the addirion of OH^-, the character of sil-ver colloid was changed, and the quality of spectra was improved considerably-The typical example of amino acid molecule was L-phenylalariine.
