Abstract As a sensitive and selective method for determing the low concentra-tion of dye in solution，the Surface Enhanced Resonance Raman Spectros copy（SERRS）is an important tool to analyze the benzotriazol （ BTA）and its derivative （BTAD），In this Paper，the SERRS of BATD has been investidat-ed， the effect of pH， concentration and electrolyte on SERRS was discusbed and the adsorbed state of BATD was figured．We suggest that the adsorbed state of BTAD on Ag surface is characterized as following：the benzotrazol bond to surface via lone pari electron on the nitrogen.
