Extension was not only an important method in mathematics research and development, it was also a good way for training students’ creative ability in mathematics teaching. A teacher could train students’ ability by teaching them some common knowledge of extension, by combing extension with many aspects of mathematics teaching and by creating advantageous circumstances.
