浅议高校专业课用英语教学的必要性

On the Necessity of Teaching Specialized Course in English

本文作者针对我国英语教学费时、低效等问题,调查和分析了埃塞俄比亚人学习英语的成功经验,认为,高校只有积极推行教学改革,加强专业课用英语教学,才能给学生创造足够的接触和运用英语的机会,达到学以致用,使我国大学毕业生的英语运用能力有一个质的飞跃。

Aiming at solving the problem of low efficiency of English teaching and learning in China, the writer investigated the situation of successful English learning in Ethiopia and found out that strengthening the reform of teaching specialized course in English in universities is critical to the improvement of English communicative competence among English learners in China.
