According to time sequence, study on water qual-ity model may be divided into three developing stages,and to spatial levels, water quality model may bedivided into one dimension model, two dimension model,three dimension model, watershed model and modelsystem. Description on the developing stages and spa-tial levels of water quality modeling have given indetail.
