在新形势下 ,加强和改进思想政治工作 ,提高思想政治工作的实效性 ,必须做好七个结合 ,即继承与创新、物质鼓励和精神鼓励、情与理、言教与身教、定性与定量、显型与隐型。

This article puts forward seven combinations, which, under new circumstances, are for, strenghtening and improving ideological and political work and its practical effects. They are inheritance and creation, moral encouragement and material reward, teaching by precept and example, quality and quantity, dominance and recessiveness, solution to problems of thoughts and actualities.
