Ojective This study focuses on the philosophic thoughts about causes and interventions of domestic violence so as to further study and to eventually solve this problem. Methods Domestic violence is discussed by some viewpoints of material theory of biology, dialectical system theory, epistemology. Results The causes of domestic violence are complex and can influence one another and perform different functions. The intervention action against domestic violence should start with many facets. Conclusions domestic violence is an important problem facing to us in the progress of human being society. the difficulty of studying domestic violence is related to the complexity and the shortage of methodology of this problem.
