Discussion on Engineering Properties of Shallow Silty Soil in Pudong Area, Shanghai

本文讨论了浅埋粉性土层在上海浦东地区的分布规律,综合了地质成因、年代、厚度、土的物理力学性质指标、原位测试成果及工程应用等因素、初步提出了工程地质分区。

The distribution law of shallow silty soil in pudong area of Shanghai is discussed. Factors like geologic origin, age, thickness, index of physical mecha nic property of soil, in-situ measurement outcomes and engineering applications are synthesized and engineering geologic zoning is also proposed.
