With the high speed,high energy and high accuracy arms being applied to modern war,the rate of ocular wound has increased. The situation of ocular injury is so severe that the wound is usually difficult to treat. Most of the wounds are explosive?penetrating and foreign body injuries. Both compound and multiple injuries are increasing. The primary measures which can prevent and treat ocular wound include protective equipment for the eye,the correct first aid principle and the complete medical treatment in echelon.
