摘要
本文结合国情设想了特征设计软件的研制要求,为轴类零件发展了一个原型系统。它采用以面为核心的数据结构,通过贴合面检索形素之间的组装关系,实现尺寸标注和尺寸驱动。一般情况下面表只存储边界线框,利用线框模型操纵和显示形素。当形素间发生相贯时。填充面以NURBS表示,进行曲面求交和裁剪。这种混合模型的优点是操作简便、可靠,交互修改设计快,同样可以直接连接CAPP和数控加工编程。
A prototype package for designing parts of revolution with features is outlined.Its data
structure is built up on face adjacency relationship and the joint-face entities are introduced to in-
terconnect correlated parent and child form features.Faces in general contain only bounding
edges,i,e.the wireframe model is used to manipulate and display features.In case when features
penetrate each other,local skinning is applied to the face boundaries,and trimmed surface struc-
ture is resulted.Such a hybrid approach has the advantages of quick response in design modifica-
tion and greatly simplifies the system implementation.
