According to the testing result of soil fertility in Tongcheng city, the regression experiment in chemical fertilizer for the different soil fertility levels was conducted. The optimum amount of fertilization was studied through the experiment. The amount of fertilization was adjusted according to the variation of fertility in soils, the situation of disaster, weather and crop leaf color for high-efficiency fertilization. Rice yield has increased through the technical application since 1997.
