新建综合性本科院校属中国高等教育向区域发展的新生力量。探讨其兴起和发展的特点,研究其发展定位成为中国高等教育区域发展的重要课题。该文对新建综合性本科院校的兴起原因、发展特点以及在发展中存在的问题进行了深入的分析和探讨,同时针对新建综合性本科学院的发展特点提出了相应的发展对策,对新建综合性本科学院的持续发展具有一定参考价值。

The establishment of local universities shows the negional development of higher education in China. It forms one of the most importunt research project of Chinese higher education to make a deep study of the features of their establishment and development. The author writes the present paper with a view to making on analysis and research of the origins, developmental features and puoblems of such universities, and putting forward some relevant strategies for their continuous development.
