Focusing of Optical Beams Induced by Cross-phase Modulation in Three-dimensional Self-defocusing Nonlinear Media

摘要 初步研究了三维自散焦介质中由交叉相位调制效应引发的光束聚焦 ,详细分析了信号光在不同抽运光输入振幅时的演化过程。分析结果表明 ,当抽运光输入振幅超过临界抽运光输入振幅时 ,信号光出现聚焦且信号光束面在演化过程中由圆形逐渐演化为弯月形。 The preliminary understanding is obtained about the focusing of optical beams induced by cross-phase modulation in three-dimensional self-defocusing nonlinear media. When the input amplitude of pump beam exceeds the critical amplitude, the probe beam begins to focus, and its spot size gradually becomes a crescent moon shaped.
