The methods of coating strength measure in common use were summarized and their good qualities and shortcomings were compared. The method of coating strength measure by sand lash was studied. The rationality and comparability of the measure results was enhanced by using ratio of the weight of sand used to lash coating to the weight of coating loosed after sand lash to calculate coating strength. The comprehensive method was shown.
