The design and production of doubly insulated conductors of Class 1E Category K3 control and instrumentation cables for nuclear power station are presented. Included are type selection of materials and key issues for attention during the manufcturing process. Besides, the important properties that the insulated conductors of Class 1E Category K3 cables shall possess are listed.
