Discussion on audiometric standard at high frequencies for selection of flying cadets

目的 调查招飞听力检查的淘汰情况 ,探讨修改高频听力损失标准的可行性。 方法 对山东、河南两省 1998～ 2 0 0 2年招飞体检听力检查各频率段的淘汰记录进行回顾分析。 结果 5年听力检查共 82 0 9名 ,淘汰率 12 .6% ;10 3 1名淘汰者中因低频、语频和高频听力损失超标而淘汰的分别为 89人 (8.6% )、2 97人 (2 8.8% )和 64 5人 (62 .6% )。高频听力损失 2 15～ 2 40 d B组淘汰 186人 ,占总淘汰人数的 18.0 %。 结论 建议将现行高频听力检查标准修改为在 40 0 0、60 0 0和 80 0 0 Hz频率上双耳听力损失总值小于或等于 2 40 d B,且 40 0 0 Hz均不超过 45 d

Objective To investigate the disqualification status due to hearing loss at various frequencies in selection of flying cadets and put forward suggestion on revising the standard. Methods The records of disqualification due to hearing loss in candidates of flying cadets from Henan and Shandong provinces were reviewed and analyzed. Results In this period, 8 209 candidates underwent audiometric examination, and the disqualification rate was up to 12.6%. In 1 031 eliminated candidates, 89(8.6%) were due to hearing loss beyond the standard at low frequency, 297(28.8%) at speech frequencies, 645(62.5%) at high frequencies in which 186(18.0%) with hearing loss at high frequencies ranging from 215 to 240 dB. Conclusion It is suggested that the current standard for hearing loss at high frequencies should be lowered: total hearing loss of two ears at 4 000, 6 000, 8 000 Hz ≤240 dB and hearing loss at 4 000 Hz ≤45 dB.
