摘要
中国书法之所以能成为一门高级艺术 ,与历代书法家的执着追求与创造分不开 ,与民族历史文化大背景分不开 ,但还在于汉字本身的特点给书家带来了一系列比其它文字更适合用作书法的优越条件 :构字因子分层、丰富 ;单字组构式样繁多 ;笔序与笔画数有可选或变通性 ;表意的形体中富于意趣与生命感 ;方块为变形、行文、章法又提供了很多便利。
Chinese calligraphy is considered to be an advanced art. Though it has a lot to do with the persistent efforts and creativeness of calligraphers in all ages as well as national, historical and cultural influence in the background, the main reason , much to the joy of Chinese calligraphers, is that Chinese character has advantageous conditions no other characters can boast of, such as the many levels and a great number of component parts, rich variety of compositions of individual character, the selectiveness and flexibility of the order or number of strokes, charm and life which overflows in ideograph and finally the many conveniences which square-shaped characters provide for change of forms, manner of writing as well as art of composition.
